random

18 November, 2006

yeah, my friend told me about this random product and i was like “that’s so random”, but then i bumped it into my walkman and i listen to it in between class and i’m like juiced for the whole day!

PS, i still occasionally think of Paco…

Press the PANIC button

Pain, stress, my brain can’t even rest.

- *a dedication to the panic button

so i went to the doctors today and i was in the waiting room for about an hour. i was obviously very bored. i tried reading through my lecture notes but i just couldn’t be bothered. i was tempted to pick up the cleo on the waiting room table, but this lady was eyeing me out for it. i could tell she was thinking that it was a woman’s magazine and therefore she had first dibbs. i let her take it. boy was i bored. i started thinking what would happen if i was to randomly get up and move the pot plants around the room. then i thought what the reactions in the waiting room would be if i was to jump out the window. i reckon the old guy next to me would have found it amusing. he passed on his copy of ‘wheels’ after he was done with it. nice guy.

i could see the computers behind reception from where i was sitting. one screen saver had a picture of a dog and underneath it read: DOG! then it dissolved into a picture of a cat, and you guessed it: CAT! man, i was losing the plot in there. one guy fell asleep and the doctor had to yell at him to get his attention.

what a morning. they still haven’t figured out what’s wrong with me.

i set the alarm on my microwave for 40 minutes to remind me when my washing would be finished. 40 minutes later it goes off and i open the door fully expecting noodles.

get off the bus

30 October, 2006

when i’m on the bus i think off random things, today i thought about street-fighter.

the game ‘street-fighter’ consists of four fundamental concepts: speed, strategy, style and adegbola. a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes, y.

get out the kitchen

26 October, 2006

noticed a kid trying to push his bike through the front gate of a school, but he didn’t have the power. felt bad for him.

there was another mobile-phone hero, spoke ½ in greek and ½ in english. this led to the guy next to me turning his i-pod up to full volume which well annoyed me, especially as it was asian pop and the music was apparently so smooth he started bopping his head to the beat.

saw one of the kids from jamie’s kitchen at the station. i was like, shouldn’t you be at the kitchen? obviously not. i randomly remembered this guy at work who used to say ‘yo’ instead of hi. he doesn’t work there anymore. the caps lock key is underappreciated.

the soy sauce at the restaurant i went to for dinner was supplied by kim ve wong. he knows how to get things done. tarka says hello.

freestyle

23 October, 2006

this one’s been a longtime coming but here it is, a 30 second freestyle:

what do you call it when i type staring into the light the caps lock key makes when it is on, i’m getting blinded by its sheer brightness but i can’t look away. this is when zelda kid still had hair, and the happy mask shop was under attack from kirby who deems it possible to levitate at 30cm above the earths crust when all he wants to do is see the time. i call this kilometrico for the poverty-stricken computer wizard.
